The Planetarium

This building of Moorish design (honoring the important contributions of the Arab astronomers) is the fifth planetarium built in the United States.

The Rosicrucian Planetarium presents the following Films: 

Everyday at 2 pm - Journey to the Stars: 

Featuring extraordinary images from telescopes on the ground and in space, as well as stunning, never-before-seen visualizations of physics-based simulations, the dazzling Journey to the Stars launches guests through time and space to experience the life and death of stars, including our own nurturing Sun. Narrated by Whoopi Goldberg.

Saturdays at 3:30 pm - Cosmic Collisions:

This film launches guests on a thrilling trip through space and time to explore the astronomical impacts that drive the dynamic and continuing evolution of the universe. Narrated by Robert Redford.

Sundays at 3:30 pm - 3D Sun:

Leading space scientists share spectacular images from NASA's 3D Sun mission and take guests behind the scenes to tell the story of the Sun and why a greater understanding of this dynamic star is of crucial importance to us all. Narrated by Al Roker.
