General Information

What is the Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum group admission ticketing system?

The Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum Group Admission Ticketing is a system designed to manage the entry of groups with more than 10 guests to the museum. This ensures equitable access and the safety of the museum's ancient artifacts.

Entry Times and Duration

When can groups enter the museum?

Groups can enter the museum every 45 minutes in their scheduled time slot on Fridays.

How long can we stay in the museum?

Your group is welcome to explore the museum for up to 1 hour and 30 minutes after entry.

What happens if we are late?

Please arrive and enter within 10 minutes of your scheduled entry time. Unfortunately, groups arriving late will only have the time remaining in their time slot.

Ticketing and Group Size

How many tickets are available per time slot?

There is a maximum of 80 tickets per time slot.

What if my group exceeds 80 people?

If your group exceeds 80 people, please book additional entry times as needed.

What dates are available for booking a group visit?

The 2023-2024 school year is open for booking. Please use our group booking calendar to find a Friday timeslot that works best for your group.

Chaperone Requirements

Are chaperones required for groups with minors?

Yes, for groups with guests under 18 years of age, one adult chaperone is required for every seven students. Students must stay with their chaperone group at all times while inside the museum.

Booking and Fees

Can I get a refund if I cancel my booking?

No refunds are available. A 20% fee applies for rescheduling your visit.

What payment methods are accepted?

All tours are booked online using a credit card. Checks, cash, and purchase orders are not accepted.

Admission Fees

What are the admission fees?

- Adult General Admission (18 - 64) - $10

- Senior (65 and older) - $8

- Teachers and Students with ID - $8

- Child (Ages 7 - 17) - $8

- Children 6 and under - Complimentary

Tours

Are there guided tours available?

No, there are no guided tours. However, you can download the museum's free app for a self-guided tour.

Covid Regulations

What are the current Covid regulations?

With the focus on the health and safety of our guests and staff members, the Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum is following all local and federal recommendations for the containment of the coronavirus. Masks are optional at this time.
