Frequently Asked Questions

Booking a School Trip?

We are open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

You may book groups of up to 50 people using our online booking system. Everyone entering the museum must have a ticket. All tickets must be paid at the time of reservation and there are no changes to the dates, no refunds, and no rescheduling, so please be sure that you have transportation and other details in place before booking.

How early do I need to purchase tickets?

The sooner you select and purchase your tickets, the better choice of dates and times you have. Currently, we are selling tickets two months out. All tickets must be pre-purchased online. No tickets will be sold at the museum.

Do you accept Purchase Orders?

The museum does not accept Purchase Orders. Payment must be made online when the tickets are selected.

What is the ratio of Chaperones to Students?

Guests 17 and under will not be admitted without a parent or chaperone at least 18 years of age, who will need to accompany them at all times while in the museum.

We recommend one chaperone for every five students.

What resources are available to help my students get the most from their trip to the museum?

You will find a resource guide and a student passport guide on the "For Educators" page.

Also, please download the museum's app before arriving.
